Thank you Emma! I'm afraid the Telegraph will keep you busy! I remember the dear dead days when it was a serious newspaper with good environmental reporting

Yes, this style of explainer really worked for me. When I saw this article being shared on FB, it was with the usual fear based comments as if Gru was behind it all 😩

Thank you for the feedback Karen. I don’t spend much time on FB any more. Where are these articles being shared over there?

Seems this Professor Hume believes there should be no attempts to prevent OR adapt to global warming, because the just outcome, which is inevitable & should be allowed to play out, is climate change will lead to human extinction! I don’t imagine this is a view shared by the Telegraph owners, editorial board or article authors! https://x.com/doctorvive/status/1682914676651225088?s=61&t=AUgpRvI6iPvCwSUPJjPe7A

Wow - what a guy. To think that the Telegraph could have spoken to any expert they chose to - and they took the “what’s wrong with mass human extinction” guy🙄

Makes me wonder what would have prompted the Torygraph to publish this as such a big feature - could it have been a certain Prof Hulme feeding them a juicy piece of outrage bait in the first place?

The GBD may well have been funded by climate denial groups- which one was it?

That doesn't mean anything they said about 'covid' was wrong.

'Lockdowns' were a disaster for millions and wouldn't have caused mass infections.

2 things can be true at the same time.
